New Blood: The Promise of Environmental Health Citizen Science Projects

Nancy Averett

An error has been noted in the article “New Blood: The Promise of Environmental Health Citizen Science Projects.” The caption for the image of the Gardenroots instruction manual incorrectly states that multiple researchers contributed to the development of the manual. In actuality, Mónica Ramírez-Andreotta was the sole developer. The corrected caption appears below:

As part of the Gardenroots project, Mónica Ramírez-Andreotta developed an instruction manual (https://superfund.arizona.edu/sites/superfund.arizona.edu/files/photofiles/gardenroots_instructional_manual.pdf) to help participants properly collect soil, water, and vegetable samples from their homes.
